The Best Workout Gear
Wearing the best workout gear is important. Comfortable, lightweight and breathable fabrics can actually improve your workout. These materials will keep you cool, dry and give you maximum mobility. I'm going to tell you what companies make the best workout gear and the most important workout gear every person should have. Remember, workout gear is an investment. It may seem expensive now, but you will see the benefits every time you workout. So don't let those dollar signs spook you (Halloween was last week, remember?).

How to Diet During a Workout Plan Part One
Dieting is difficult. It's not easy and it takes a lot of willpower. This is why I am going to tell you how to diet during a workout plan and still keep your sanity. This is a two part blog, so this first part is going to focus on beverages and dieting.
Dieting is MORE important than Exercise
What? Yes, you read that right. Dieting is more important than exercise. Many people are committed to their workout routine but do not understand the importance of healthy eating. I have friends who have been working out for months and still have yet to reach their goals. The problem is that they think they can eat whatever they want, whenever they want. If most people chose to eat healthier options consistently, they would lose majority of their excess weight without ever stepping foot into a gym. Here are some simple tricks to help cut hundreds of calories out of your diet and eat healthier.

The Best Workout Songs
I don’t know about you guys, but music is a MUST for me while working out. Music is therapeutic; listening to music during a workout gives you a huge boost. It can make the
difference when you need that extra push to finish that last set. It can
jumpstart your mood if you’re having an off day. Whether your stretching,
running or pumping iron, music makes a workout better. That's why I'm going to tell you about the best workout songs and how they will improve your workout.
The Best Workout Songs for YOU
Believe it or not, I know guys that can listen to Taylor
Swift or Carly Rae Jepsen when they work out. Why am I telling you this?
Because it’s important to realize every person is different. There’s no set
genre for workout music. Pick the best workout songs for you.
I like to work out to three genres: heavy rock, rap/hip hop and electronic dance music. These three genres always put me in a great mood. They motivate me to go to the gym and get me through a tough workout. I like to change up my rap/hip-hop and EDM from time to time but, Linkin Park ALWAYS stays on my playlist. Check out their YouTube page for more great music.

Starting a Workout Plan Successfully
When you start a workout plan, you refer to the starting
point as week one right? Wrong. A better name is hell week. Now, you may be
thinking, “Aren’t you being a bit melodramatic Justin?" No way. The first week
of any workout plan is brutal. The workouts are hard and
painful. The amount of weight you can lift is depressing. And after
about five minutes of cardio you begin to question if your left lung just
collapsed. Not to mention you have to get your butt off the couch and
get to the gym.
I just made it through “hell week” and I wasn’t successful.
Now I’m not trying to discourage anyone. I’m just being honest. I only went to the gym twice and played one game of soccer. My goal was to go to the gym five times this past week so why did I fail? Was it laziness? Did I have a busy week? Nope. I failed my weekly goal because I didn’t prepare enough. Since I don't want you guys to fail, I'm going to give you everything you need to start a workout plan successfully.

Welcome to my Fitness Blog!
Hey everyone. My name is Justin and I am the blogger behind 50 Days of Fitness. I'm a public relations post-graduate student at Western University looking to lead a more healthy and active lifestyle.
Why is my Blog Different?
My blog is different because I am not a fitness guru. I haven't exercised consistently in the last four months. I don't have a personal trainer certification and I don't have a degree in food and nutrition. I'm not "jacked" and I don't have a six pack. So why follow my blog?
